I took a really fun class on Saturday at the Stamp Act store in Marshfield. Stacey Rich from StaceyStamps was the instructor. She taught us 5 different techniques for using colored pencils. It was so nice to go to the class and just be there to create. Here are photos of the cards I made.

Stacey had the stamped images ready for us. The images are from her line of stamps.
The weather was just fantastic this weekend. Such a nice break from all the snow and ice we have had this winter. We actually sat out in the lawn chairs in the sun for a bit on Saturday. Since I have been helping my sister move the last few Saturday's, Gene kidnapped me today and we went out for a nice ride and to do some photography. I haven't had much play time with the new camera so it was a great treat today. I got some great shots at the grist mill pond.

Then we went out to Middleboro so I could practice with shutter speeds and iso levels by taking photos of moving water.

I was surprised how much of my SLR skills I have lost using point and shoot digital for the last few years... I am going to have to practice more and do some reading.
